Christoph Fiedler has been a qualified solicitor since 1995 and has more than 30 years of legal experience. He gained his first international practical experience, with a background in commercial training, during his legal training in 1993, which took him to a New York law firm.
After qualifying, he initially worked as a solicitor before moving into the insurance industry in 1998, where he worked for brokers specialising in logistics issues, such as Hans Rudolf Schmidt GmbH & Co KG, AON Risk and Debis Assekuranzmakler GmbH.
Christoph Fiedler has been working as an independent solicitor since 2004. In 2008, he founded the law firm FIEDLER HAASE Lawyers. In 2026, the company was renamed in FIEDLAW Lawyers.
Christoph Fiedler primarily advises and represents freight forwarders, road haulage companies and passenger transport companies, and works in the field of transport law.
Mr Fiedler regularly lectures on logistics law and is also involved in professional policy.
He speaks German and English and has a basic knowledge of Polish.
Justus Fiedler studied law at several renowned universities in Germany and abroad, including Marburg, Göttingen, Münster, Lausanne (Switzerland) and currently at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where he has been studying for an Art Law LL.M. since the winter semester of 2025/26.
He completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Münster with placements at, among others, the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the European Union in Brussels, at White & Case / Düsseldorf in insolvency administration, and at P+P Pöllath + Partners / Munich in the area of M&A/private equity.
During his studies, Justus Fiedler gained extensive practical experience at international commercial law firms and institutions, including internships at Allen & Overy, the Deutsche Bundesbank and the law firm FIEDLER HAASE Lawyers, where he had been working as a working student since 2022 and also acquired knowledge of traffic, transport and freight forwarding law.
In addition to his legal training, he is involved in voluntary work, including providing legal advice to non-profit organisations organisations. In his free time, he plays hockey, tennis and golf.
Justus Fiedler speaks German, English and French fluently, has a basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian, and has international experience from his studies, practical work and stays abroad.
